The World of Kids
A unique and modern kindergarten with an individual and distinctive concept. Close to company headquarters and with the needs of the working parents in mind, the World of Kids is part of the adidas “work-life-strategy“.
The world of kids works with a holistic approach. The kindergarten offers a lot of opportunities for children to experiment and learn. Sports, Health, bilingualism, music, creativity and science are core elements of the educational concept. The topic of “media education” also plays an important role.
Our own forest and “ad hoc“group complete the range of educational services. Fresh cuisine ensures a healthy and balanced diet.
The Woki offers all those involved, i.e. the children, the parents and the specialist staff, a great deal of scope for free, individual development and educational work at the highest level.

Our children
In two unique and modern buildings we take care of 48 nursery and 70 kindergarten children each. 30 different nationalities characterize the colourful daily routine of the children at the WoKi.
The great variety of impressions and experiences are a valuable enrichment for us.
Our opening hours
nursery
Monday to Friday: 7.45 am – 4.30 pm
Monday to Thursday “Late group” for age 2 and older: 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm
kindergarten
Monday to Thursday: 7.45 am – 5.30 pm
Friday: 7.45 am – 4.30 pm
For pedagogical, organisational and conceptual reasons, children should not be brought or picked up during the core time from 9.30 – 13.00 hours. The kids of the forest group are out exploring from 9 am until 3:30 pm. In the off-peak hours in the morning and evening, if necessary, supervision can be offered in the premises of the World of Kids.
The facility is closed two working days before Christmas Eve until January 6. Three flexible team days will be announced by the facility management at the beginning of the kindergarten year. On these days the team works together on the conceptual orientation and develops practical implementations. On these days, no childcare is possible for our children.
Our premises
The buildings of the day care centre are located on the “world of sports” campus on Horst-Dassler-Straße in Herzogenaurach. They were built with children in mind and furnished lovingly and according to their age. The rooms are very spacious. Around an atrium, the nursery and kindergarten are grouped together with theme-related functional or adventure, sleeping and sanitary rooms. A movement room, an office, team-, seminar and a meeting room for parent meetings as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a cafeteria for each area round off the room offerings. In addition, our forest group has a forest plot within walking distance for conquest and exploration.
Parking spaces are available for the employees and the day-care centre it can also be easily reached with the regional bus service.
The facility has a spacious outdoor area with a garden. It is very important for us to provide a playable, stimulating exterior design and age-appropriate play equipment. This includes the fact that the grounds with different levels animate the urge to move for young and old, that all natural materials encourage creative play and communication, and that many sensory experiences can be made.
